Being a mile or so south of US192, Walt Disney World Resort and other parks are easily accessible via the main World Drive entrance. Situated within a conservation area and surrounded by lakes, the area attracts bird life and wildlife alike. Such a location means that it is ideal for getting to the parks early, with the ability to return to avoid the midday heat.

Being so central, golfers are in for a treat. With ten first-rate courses within a 10 mile radius, there is a lot of fun to be had out on the fairway. Overall, Oak Island Harbour offers excellent villas in a great location, whether it is the parks, golf or shopping.

A small, private gated community of 2 and 3 bedroom condominiums, located south of US192 and built alongside Oakwater lake. For guests staying at Oakwater, there is a clubhouse with concierge and fitness centre, as well as a large lagoon-style communal pool, tennis courts, basketball court and children's play area. For something a little more relaxing, take in the wildlife on the lake side conservation trail.

Forming part of Formosa Gardens, Rolling Hills is one of the closest communities to Walt Disney World Resort, offering executive villas in quiet cul-de-sacs. Situated within a conservation area and surrounded by lakes, the area attracts bird life and wildlife alike.

A small, private gated community, Sunset Lakes offers detached pool homes built around two naturally formed lakes. Both lakes are stocked and can be fished from the bank or small boat. Bird and wildlife spotters will be equally content with what can be seen on and around the lakes. There is also a community pool (with changing rooms and cabana alongside) and a children's play area of swings, slide and themed climbing frame.

As a smaller, discrete community, Villas at Island Club Kissimmee provides just over 200 condominium houses for rental and is located alongside the Lindfields estate. The condominiums are fully-equipped, bright and spacious options to renting a villa. As a condo-community, there are two heated communal pools, tennis courts, volley ball pitches, children's play area and a central clubhouse with fitness centre.

Being located to the south-west of Walt Disney World Resort, getting there is straightforward, simply head for highway US192, then take World Drive. US192 is also the main road into Kissimmee and offers a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars. Carry on past Disney for Interstate 4, which is the most direct route to Seaworld, Universal Studios and the International Drive area. For golfers, there are a plethora of fantastic courses in the area and all within a short distance. Orange Lake is almost opposite, so absolutely no excuses for an early start.

As a gated resort located just south of US192, Windsor Hills offers one of the best locations when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. With a mixture of luxury properties, from 2 and 3 bedroom condos, to 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom townhouses and villas - this community caters for parties of all sizes. As a vacation resort style community, there is a separate heated lagoon pool and central clubhouse, which has a movie theatre and games arcade. For the active guest, there is a fitness center, sports courts and putting green. Children get their own playground as well.

If you are looking to visit the Championship golf courses that the central Florida area has to offer, then you will not be disappointed. With a fantastic selection of first-rate courses available year round and very local to the community, Windsor Hills makes a fantastic location when visiting the parks, shops or attractions.

Situated in a great location just south of highway US192, Windsor Palms has both villas and condos, as well as being a fantastic resort with unrivalled facilities. They include clubhouse, cinema, gym/fitness room, convenience store, swimming pool / spa, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court, children’s play area, video games, billiards room, picnic / BBQ area and table tennis. The resort also caters for those who cannot leave work at home with business facilities including Internet access.

For golfers, there are a great selection of championship courses in the area, which include the Mystic Dunes Resort. There is no excuse for not getting to the tee early, as it effectively borders Windsor Palms.

Unlike the majority of vacation communities, if you would rather leave the car at the villa for the day, there is even resort transportation to the main theme parks and shopping malls (for an additional fee).
