Hidden in a small, peaceful cul-de-sac a little over 1 mile south of the intersection between US27 and Interstate 4, Aylesbury offers the tranquility that is sometimes lost in the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. Built around Floridian orange groves and deliberately avoiding club houses and communal facilities, the houses are comfortable offering private pools and a pleasant, relaxing environment.

Bridgewater Crossing is a mid-size community located just of CR54 and offering luxury 3 and 4 bedroom vacation villas with private pools. With villas situated on tree-lined roads and bordering wetland and woodland, staying in this location offers the peacefulness which is not necessarily found on larger communities. For visitors staying in Bridgewater Crossing, there is a communal pool, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a play area for the children. Surrounded by so much conservation wetland, the community also has a nature preserve and trail.

A newer Calabay Parc gated community offering an array of luxury villas, some with views over Tower Lake and others within a few minutes walk. Pinewood Country Estates is an established part-residential part-vacation niche rental community of just 85 homes built around lake-land and woodland. Offering a selection of 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom villas with private pools, the community is located south of Walt Disney World Resort area and provides a tranquil setting for relaxing after a day at the attractions. With some villas bordering the lake, you may even have your own private fishing dock at the end of the garden!

Providence is a new luxury gated 2200 acre community built around the entrance to and alongside the Providence golf course. Reunion Resort is one of the most prestigious communities which offers rental homes in the Walt Disney World area. It is a purpose built vacation resort, with magnificent landscaping and caters for the whole family. Built around three signature golf courses, for guests there is also a clubhouse, a spa, a tennis complex (with lit courts), 11 community pools and even a water park with lazy river! Needless to say that the fantastic facilities offered are matched by the luxurious vacation homes on offer.

Bordering a top-class golf course makes Ridgewood Lakes the perfect base for any golfer. Simply step out of bed onto the course! Located south of the intersection between Interstate 4 and US27, Ridgewood Lakes is a gated community which has been built around the golf course. Split into two subdivisions called Ridgewood Pointe and The Forest, each offers luxury rental properties of all sizes for visitors in quiet and peaceful setting . For small children there is a play area and as a guest, you can access the clubhouse.

When travelling to the theme parks, simply head north on Interstate 4. With US192 en-route and Universal Studios (including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter) a few miles past Walt Disney World, this is the recommended thoroughfare. Similarly, if you are looking to head towards the Gulf coast or Busch Gardens (in Tampa), head south on Interstate 4.

Robbins Rest is a small established community of around seventy 3 and 4 bedroom residential homes and vacation villas with private pools. The community borders CR54 (Ronald Reagan Pkwy), which is the main road to the ChampionsGate resort and Interstate 4. It is set within the Florida countryside, with the southern side of the community overlooking Lake Thomas. This is also where you will find a separate smaller cul-de-sac of just four villas. Being such a small community, expect a quiet, relaxing and friendly welcome in this popular location.

One of the newer communities situated in the peacefulness of the orange groves that border CR532 and Old Lake Wilson Road. Sandy Ridge offers a variety of well-presented rental properties from the smaller single-storey 3 bedroom villas to the bigger 5 bedroom villas - all of which are built around a series of ponds and lakes.

Being aside from the hustle and bustle of the attractions, there are a number of golf courses in the local area - including the fantastic Championsgate, Mystic Dunes and Reunion courses.

Solterra Resort is a new rental community offering luxury 4 bedroom townhouses through to 7 bedroom villas. All homes are located in a peaceful conservation area, with managed landscaping.

Central to the community is a clubhouse with excellent facilities. These include a lounge area with free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, tennis courts, basketball courts, volley ball courts and a beach style pool with water slides, cabanas and even water slides. There is a playground for the younger members of your party and should wish to stay within the resort, there is also a restaurant.

Located south of the attractions, villas within the Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club benefit from three key points - they are alongside a PGA-rated championship golf-course (ideal if you are a golfer and do not want to walk far), there is a WalMart within walking distance (ideal if you like to shop) and the peacefulness of the location.

As a gated community, the villas are a mixture of residential and short-term rental homes. The community has tennis courts, a communal pool, a gym, a lake that can be fished and a children's play area. For those on vacation, there is a clubhouse attached to the golf course which is open to the public for drinks and snacks.

Sunridge Woods is an established estate of 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom vacation and residential houses, built around small lakes in a woodland environment. Situated on over-sized plots for added privacy, villas in this community provide peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks - with just the local bird-life to keep you company when relaxing by the pool.

For golfers there are a number of first rate courses in the local area, which should allow you to make an early morning tee time.

Sunset Ridge is a gated resort of both residential and rental properties, located just south of the intersection between Interstate 4 and US27. With a mixture of excellent properties, nicely spaced for privacy and some bordering the adjacent lake, Sunset Ridge offers a welcome retreat away from the theme parks and attractions. For golfers, Deer Creek Golf Resort is opposite, with a number of first-rate courses within a 10 mile radius.

As US27 is becoming more popular for visitors to the area, more supermarkets, shops and restaurants are being opened. The recent Posner Park shopping complex - which is alongside the intersection with Interstate 4 - is a good example of this.

Thousand Oaks is a peaceful community of just over 200 houses in cul-de-sacs and bordered by woodland conversation (predominately majestic oak and pine trees) and natural lakes. The community offers holiday villas from 3 to 6 bedrooms, so caters for visitor parties of all sizes. Staying in Thousand Oaks will provide relaxation from the parks and shops - especially if you take time out for a woodland walk to watch the wildlife or pass time fishing in one of the lakes.

Tivoli Manor is located off highway US27 and is a small, private gated community of just 35 properties, offering 3, 4 and 5 bedroom rental houses. Being such a small community, expect a quiet, relaxing and friendly welcome in this popular Davenport area. Being located on US27, there is an excellent selection of first class golf courses nearby.

Town Center Reserve is a newer gated community hidden away amongst woodland south of the Walt Disney World resort area. The community consists of 94 rental homes which are built around or alongside three lakes, so when renting there, expect either a lakeside or conservation woodland view. As you may expect, if wildlife or fishing is your scene, then you are in for a treat. Such a relaxing location offers the peace and quiet not always found in rental communities and at times you may just forget how close you are to the area attractions.

Staying here, you will find villas ranging in size from 3 to 6 bedrooms, with private pools and a pleasant, relaxing environment.

A new gated community, set in woodlands and lakelands off South Orange Blossom Trail, Watersong Resort offers executive Mediterranean style vacation properties. Built with a central clubhouse, which has a cyber cafe and fitness room. The resort also has a communal pool, basketball court, children's play area and picnic site. There is no need for golfers staying at Watersong to wake up too early, as Providence Golf Club is on your doorstep.

Westbury is a relatively small and quiet community offering 3, 4 and 5 bedroom rental houses which border palm trees and orange groves. Being located on US27, there is an excellent selection of first class golf courses nearby.

Windwood Bay is one of the new, smaller more discrete communities located south of the Disney Reunion resort and just off Interstate 4. Over the past few years, this area has started to be developed and now offers newer vacation villas, although local amenities may be limited. If you are visiting for a golfing break, the community is located centrally to many of the fantastic local golf courses - including Championsgate and Ginn Reunion amongst others.
