Compass Bay is a new purpose built gated complex located between highway US192 and SR535 consisting of town-house condominiums positioned around smaller lakes. Some condos have their own adjoining private pool, but there is always the larger community pool and cabana - which is available for residents and guests only. Children also have their own 'Tot Lot' playgrounds with climbing frames.
Located within the Lake Buena Vista area, there is a great choice when deciding where to eat in the evening, especially with highway US192 and SR535 adjacent. Both of these are packed with restaurants, shops and bars - Chillis, Smokey Bones, Uno Pizzeria, Longhorn, TGI Fridays, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden.
Compass Bay is ideally situated for the local WalMart and Publix supermarkets. There are also smaller local shops, gift shops, eateries and bars including Frankie Farrells Irish restaurant which is located in the nearby Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. These are a quieter alternative to the Premium Shopping Outlets which are located approximately 4 miles north on SR535. With quick access to the new 'The Loop' complex, means a fantastic vacation with everything on your doorstep.

Compass Bay borders highway US192 (the main road through to Kissimmee) and Poinciana Blvd. This route offers the most straightforward driving route to Walt Disney World and the Lake Buena Vista area via highway SR535. For Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the International Drive area, head for Interstate 4 then north towards Orlando. There is also an alternative route via International Drive South. Orlando International airport is accessible from Interstate 4, the SR417 Florida Greeneway and the Beachline Expressway SR528. These also provide a route to Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach. For the Gulf coast and Busch Gardens, head for Interstate 4 then south towards Tampa. For Legoland Florida, head south on highway US27 at the intersection with Interstate 4.

Rental communities here are more established and offer vacation villas in a great location, especially with the array of nearby restaurants, shops, WalMart, Publix and Target supermarkets. There is also all the crazy golf you can handle! For an evening with a difference, the Medieval Times dinner show (with knights and horses) is very close by.
