4 Bed / 3 Bath, Sleeps 8 - Private Pool - Games Room

"This was our second stay at the lovely Orlando Villa Mags Den and this visit was just as wonderful as our first in 2019! This time we holidayed my sister and her family. This villa was great when it was just the 4 of us, but if you are planning to stay with another family then this villa is perfect too. There were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children and the villa is so spacious that we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. The two master bedrooms have en-suite and the children (who took up the other two rooms) shared a bathroom which worked really well for us. The children loved the games room and spent their spare time playing on the games in there or sat at the table colouring. When they weren’t in the games room they were in the pool. The pool is lovely and a perfect size. We visited in April and paid for pool heat and it was a perfect temperature. The outside area is a great space for everyone. Plenty of room for splashy pool play while the adults sunbath or sit with a glass of wine. Caroline and Andy have thought of everything. This villa is modern, comfortable, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There’s plenty of clean towels, bed linen and there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, safe and all the little things that just make your holiday easier, such as hair driers in the bathrooms, plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes and picnic bags in the kitchen which are really handy for the parks. The kitchen and dining area are really spacious and you can easily prepare a meal for 8 and fit everyone around the large dining table. It’s just a wonderful home from home. The villa’s location is fantastic too. So easy to get to the all the parks, shopping outlets, lnternational Drive and restaurants. Since our last visit there is a new Publix supermarket that has opened right opposite Calabay Parc (super convenient) and a new Longhorn Steak House and Olive Garden at Championsgate. I also noticed that there is a Ford Garage opening soon at that site too. We tried Longhorn Steak House and Olive Garden and had lovely meals at both. There’s also a MacDonalds at Championsgate, we used this on the two occasions that we were up early and wanted to grab breakfast quickly en route to the parks. Other restaurants/take aways that we visited while away that I’d recommend include: Bahama Breeze (International Drive), Cheesecake Factory (Regency Village Drive), T-Rex Cafe (Disney Springs), Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom - amazing character interaction), Yak & Yeti (Animal Kingdom- delicious Asian food), 50’s Prime Time (Hollywood Studios - we did the Fantasmic package which gave us tickets for the reserved seating for the evening show. Food was 1950’s comfort food and waitresses were brilliant with ‘no elbows on the table’), iHop (US Hwy 27 - breakfast for waffles!), Panda Express (for take away orange chicken- yum!) "The home was well stocked with towels, linens and kitchen sets. The home was extremley clean and we could tell it had recently been updated. The neighbourhood was quiet & well kept. "MY STAY AT MAGS DEN!!! For anybody with an upcoming stay at or thinking of staying at this lovely villa (home) you’re in for a treat. So very spacious yet somehow cosy, 4 great sized bedrooms with en suites in 2. Fresh/Bright decor throughout. The pool area is perfect with a nice sized pool and comfortable seats around the patio, perfect for the 4 evenings I sat out watching the storms pass over (storm geek). Average drive time to WDW (once we did it in 13 mins) was about 30 minutes and another 15 onto the universal and SeaWorld parks. Brilliant fridge/freezer which the other half demanded we tried to get ourselves when back home 🙄, check out all the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen as you’ll 100% find what you may need and a few extra helpful things like candles (smelly), note pads etc etc. In my opinion the owners have gone above and beyond in making their home as comfortable as possible for their guests and I JUST LOVED IT and felt so at home and comfortable within a very short time of being there and when the 3 weeks were up I was as gutted at leaving this home as I was leaving the theme parks. "Perfect Florida Getaway Near Orlando and Lakeland

We came to Florida for MLB spring training games that never happened (Thanks MLB lockout) BUT! We had an amazing stay regardless! Travelling with my father who is in a wheelchair and we were able to navigate seamlessy throughout this home. We had no major issues and LOVED the pool and patio areaand would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay nera Disney or with quick access to nearby Lakeland. Florida traffic can be bad. "Comfortable and clean 4/5 Stayed Nov 2021 Overall we had a very comfortable stay and contact was always easy and attended to quickly. The blinds to the pool were very “sticky” and did not always work properly and the door to the master bathroom got stuck once, locking me and my daughter inside the bathroom for several minutes. There was only one working pool stick so we had to share when playing. Those things were very minor and do not take away from the great time and the comfort of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. OWNER COMMENTS : Thank you Jamie, we have not replaced the pool sticks and since our owner visit in December/January we have removed the blinds, they were sticking as the track was broken, all now repaired."

There were some ants in one of the rooms who apparently really really wanted a cracker on our first night, but we didn’t see them the rest of the time. "Beautiful home, perfect for our family vacation. 5 STARS We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Mags Den! This home was beautiful and had everything my family needed to make our vacation grand! The house was clean and spacious with lovely décor and was absolutely perfect for our family of 7. There were very thoughtful items to borrow like ice packs, cooler bags and a stroller, which made for a big money saver. It was just a short drive to Disney and after a long day we were welcomed with a nice, warm pool and comfy beds!"

"We stayed for a week, family of 4 with two teens. We visit every year to Orlando area usually staying at the Emerald Island resort; however, this year, we cancelled our California trip and decided to do Florida twice. I wanted to save some money. The prices were better here at Calabay Parc, same idea with a 4 bedroom, three bath, private pool and game room. Davenport's further SW on I-4 than Kissimmee, and there's no security gate here; however, the neighborhood is very nice, kept up and safe. The home is absolutely beautiful, very clean(the cleanest we've seen), and management is right on it and attentive. 'Wood' floors and tile, no carpet, comfy beds, nice furniture, large open kitchen, 4 TV's with plenty of channels, super pool area for 8, clean pool with security fencing(pay for the heating this time of the year), 2 masters en suite. The main master has a super deep tub and large shower. The other master has a big shower and door to the pool area. Two other bedrooms include a large bunkbed, my teen daughter loved it; and a two bed room more for the youngsters. The game room has pool table, fussball and a basket ball hoop- we played horse. There's portable air con. small table, games. A small laundry room leads into the game room with washer/dryer. Plenty of utensils and kitchen supplies. Security alarm if desired. ”Dings” heard when doors or windows are opened. Large living area and TV. This place is well decorated for a normal family not just as a rental. Nearby grocers and restaurants on Highway 27 which moves much quicker than 192. Check your GPS for best route in and out of the area since traffic binds up on I-4. Plenty of back routes that get you there quickly. We hit the parks, usually 20 minutes to Disney, 30-40 to Universal. 45-50 minutes to MCO. We'd drop the kids off, then go and have a date day. Cocoa Beach a little over an hour, Clearwater Beach a bit more. Check out Brevard Zoo and Tree Top Canopy excursion in Melbourne. Local info included at house. Publix nearby. We ate at the cute Fish and Chips next to Publix off Highway 27. 4 Corners Tavern. Lots of cute mini-golf. Drive over to Highway 192 for goofy big gift shops, gator golf, more food, Celebration town. International drive for their attractions. Rebecca and her group do a great job! We'll be back."

"Good Morning Caroline, I wanted to share my review with you. Please feel free to post it on your website or whatever you need. Family Holidays at Mag’s Den We had the opportunity to spend a wonderful stay at Mag’s Den in Davenport, FL. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children 9, 13, 16). We stayed between 12/24/20-1/2/21. We usually would stay in either a resort or hotel, but we wanted to rent a house instead where we would be more comfortable during COVID times. We are also thinking of purchasing our own investment property and this gave us some ideas of what we are looking for. The experience was exceptional! We loved Caroline’s villa. It is a 1 floor, 4-bedroom, 3 bathrooms with a huge kitchen (fully equipped) and eat in area. There is everything you need in this house, especially in the kitchen as we like to cook. In the pantry you will also find cleaning supplies and some items that you might need to use that have been left by other rentals. We cooked a really nice Christmas dinner (turkey and fixings) and we had everything we needed. Grocery stores are like 10 minutes ride and you can find whatever stores you need nearby. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food places as well. The bedrooms were big and spacious and plenty of closets and storage. All the bedrooms had TVs which was perfect for my boys as they like to play video games. The WIFI was also great and did not disappoint. I did some work while at the villa and all the boys were able to access WIFI for their Xboxes. The garage has been setup as a game room and the boys loved it. The pool area was perfect for our family. The pool was heated and a perfect size. The boys still got to enjoy the pool even on those days of-60-degree weather. The pool area has plenty of lounging chairs and 2 big tables, enough for a big family. We also were able to rent a BBQ grill through the property management. Coming from Massachusetts, we do miss BBQs during the winter! For TV, you have ROKU in each TV, but you can sign up to your own Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. Just remember to sign out on your last day. The neighborhood felt very safe and the neighbors seemed very friendly. Always waving hi as you went by. It looks like there were a combination of families living there and people on vacation. It was cute seeing the Christmas decorations as well. We bought our own Christmas tree, but Caroline did offer one that was in the closet in case we wanted to set it up. Location – I think it was perfect! Even though we didn’t venture out too much, we had everything we needed within a few minutes. The Disney parks are about 20 minutes (some traffic depending the time of the day). It is very close to I-4 and you don’t feel like you are isolated from it all. Perfect location if you hitting the Disney parks. Unfortunately, we didn’t do Universal so I’m not sure how far that would be. You definitely will need a car to get around or you will depend on UBER and"

"Dates 10th Nov - 24th Nov 2019 We had a wonderful stay at Mag's Den for our first family holiday since having our daughter. The villa was very clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space. Caroline was amazing throughout; checking that we had arrived safely and was contactable throughout our stay. It's obvious she and her family have a real passion for their home. I must say the management company/maintenance team were also amazing! "Just come back from the mags den villa on Wednesday after spending 2 weeks there. We loved it, the place is spacious and clean with everything you need. It was one of the best holidays we’ve had. When we did stop in the villa on a day off it was lush, with an excellent games room and pool too. You couldn’t ask for more. It was like going from home to home. The owners Andy and Caroline were very helpful especially after our flights were cancelled with Thomas cook and were very accommodating when there was a chance dates times might be compromised. "We recently returned home from 2 weeks at Mags Den. Not our first holiday in Florida by any means but our first Villa stay. This is because I was so apprehensive after reading bad things about villa rentals. Caroline made me feel so at ease that I took the plunge and booked - and wow am I glad I did! The Villa is beautiful with 4 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms offering more than enough room to lose 2 teenagers in! Everything just feels spacious and relaxed. The villa was prepared beautifully for our arrival, and the pool was just fab. Lovely and warm and crystal clear. The position of the villa is great, just 5 mins to major road links and within 20-40 mins you can reach the theme parks and if you feel adventurous a little further afield are some lovely state parks or even a trip to the beautiful gulf coast. "'We have just got back from ten days in Orlando, spent at lovely Mags Den Villa near Champion's Gate. The villa is situated close to Disney, and all the amenities available there. On arrival we found the villa had been immaculately prepared for us and we felt most welcome. The location in Calabay Parc was nice and quiet, with friendly neighbours. The house itself is really big and comfortable, with numerous bedrooms, bathrooms, a games room and a tempting pool. The whole place is well furnished, and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. Rebecca and the maintenance company were most helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed. There was also a list of really useful tips from Caroline (the owner) on where to go, what to do etc. We had a great time overall and would highly recommend Mags Den Villa to anyone. "I was so overwhelmed As soon as we walked into Mags Den we knew this was a villa we could stay for the rest of our holiday - our girls loved it When we stopped crying I messaged Caroline, who spent so much time reassuring us we were very welcome. The villa is immaculate with everything you need and more! An abundance of bedding, towels and little extras that made all of us feel at ease.We cannot thank you enough for stepping in and salvaging our long awaited holiday.The bedrooms are lovely and homely. I am coeliac and need a clean and well kept kitchen it was amazing - had everything I needed I stopped being unwell and was able to eat and sleep! The pool a major part of our holiday, this pool was cleaned regularly the lights are all working - it was perfect for sunbathing The games room was clean and had lots of options for teenagers to amuse themselves in the evening. We visit Florida & have a great time. I will definitely book again; no nasty surprises just quality and kindness!"

"We have just come back from a two week stay at Mags Den . I have to say it's the nicest and biggest we have stayed in before . It was very spacious for the 7 of us,we were surprised at how big the villa is . The villa was nice and clean and had just been decorated in nice fresh colours . The kitchen was well stocked with equipment but I have to say we did not cook much while there ! There is plenty of restaurants on highway 27 and the 192. The master bedroom was heaven the bed was so big and so comfy I slept so well in it . The ensuite to this bedroom was everyone's favourite. There is everything you need in the villa plenty of towels , bedding , DVDs,computer games , games room I was very impressed at what was there. The villa is on a quiet road which was nice when sitting round the pool. Caroline and the agency in Florida where so helpful with anything we needed help with. I felt so at home in this villa I did not want to come home . I would definitely recommend this love"

"We enjoyed our stay in mags den villa! Caroline was very helpful! The villa was situated in a nice quite street! We found the villa very well equipped! Even though we didn't eat in villa it had everything you could need! The villa was larger than the average 4 bed villa we have stayed in before and master bedroom was very comfortable with a large ensuite! Was well situated within easy access to the parks highway 27 and 192! The floor in the villa was lovely and made a change to tiled floors in most villas! It was freshly decorated and clean!
