It's all about 'THE VIEW'!!!
We extend a warm invitation to you and your family, to enjoy the delights of our luxurious 5 bedroom (2 en-suite masters), 4 Bathroom Executive Lake View home with the added bonuses of a games room, private screened pool and a lanai.
Our beautiful, spacious and inviting home has been professionally furnished and is comprehensibly equipped with everything that you would require for the perfect vacation - even down to an umbrella! Yes it does sometimes rain in Florida!
Winter Haven enjoys a prime location within Lake Berkley resort, situated just off US192 near Medieval Times dinner show. It is a gated and 24/7 guarded community surrounded by wooded areas.
Just 15 minutes from Disney World it is perfectly situated for easy access to all the theme parks and is literally minutes from unlimited shops, dining and entertainment attractions.
There is a WalMart within walking distance if you feel so inclined!
With 3 lakes (fishing is permitted on a 'catch & return' basis and rods are provided), a lakeside path for walkers and joggers, tennis court, basketball hoops and kids slide/climbing frame, there is plenty to occupy everyone - irrespective of age!
The communal area has a large pool and a kiddies splash area with water toys.
Winter Haven plays a very important part in our lives and we stay in our home personally at least 3 times a year to ensure everything remains in tip top shape. We employ a local property manager who prides himself on being very 'hands on' and responds quickly should our guests have questions or need help in any way. So whether guests need a dentist (too many doughnuts), a chiropractor (too many white knuckle rides) or changing a light bulb he is just at the end of a phone!
The GREAT room overlooks the pool and lake beyond. With a 21 foot cathedral ceiling, tiled floor and leather seating you are assured of a cool and comfortable environment. A Digital TV has the ROKU streaming service. Regular TV channels are viewed viaSLING TV. We also provide NETFLIX.
The DVD player is multi regional.
The formal DINING room and Breakfast nook each seats 6 people and we provide high chairs for the little ones.
The recently refurbished kitchen area is fully equipped to prepare everything from a pizza to a full thanksgiving dinner.
Bedroom 1 (ground floor King master) has access to the pool deck from the large patio doors and uninterrupted views of the lake and island. It has a full en-suite with corner bath, separate shower cubicle, twin sinks and WC. There is a large walk-in closet/dressing room equipped with a floor safe.
Bedroom 2 (first floor King master) has enviable views of the lake. It has a large en-suite shower room with large tiled shower cubicle, sink and WC. This shower room is also accessible from the landing if required.
Bedroom 3 is decorated in a Safari theme and has a double (full) bed and a single bed. Bedroom 4 is decorated with a Disney theme and has twin beds.

Bedroom 5 is located on the ground floor. It has a queen bed and is served by the adjacent shower room.
All bed linens and towels are provided.
All bedrooms have a TV with either a DVD player or a streaming device.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
We provide 2 travel cots with supplementary mattresses and baby gates for top and bottom of the stairs.
The fully screened, south east facing pool, deck and spa enjoy sunshine from dawn until an hour before sunset at all times of the year. There is a covered lanai with light and fan to maximize the time spent outdoors.
There are loungers, tables and chairs provided.
The view of the lake and island is spectacular and is further enhanced by the variety of birds turtles and other creatures (even the occasional Alligator!) who call the island their home. Fishing is permitted in the lake - rods are provided.
We especially like the privacy our deck affords thanks to the clever landscaping, which shields the more sensitive person from casual onlookers!
The colored pool lighting adds ambiance after dark.
Outside the pool screening is a Gas BBQ for guest use.
The garage at WINTER HAVEN has been professionally converted into an independently air conditioned games room with an 8' pool table and seating for spectators!
There is a large TV with ROKU streaming device and SLING TV,a multi regional DVD player and PS2 console with games..
We provide family orientated board games plus a selection of toys for younger children.
Of course, this does mean there are no car garaging facilities at our home, however there is parking on the drive for 2 cars.

"Yes us again! Yet another fantastic holiday in Winter Haven - it feels like our second home! Loved the new Kitchen!
We had extended family with us this trip, plus two small children and the villa had plenty of space for us all to find some quiet time. The pool area was well used by us all and we especially enjoyed eating outside under the lanai. The lanai was also great for our 3 month old son who snoozed happily in one of the travel cots provided whilst his older brother had a swim.
The owners of this home have thought of practically everything - the Lego was much appreciated!

A wonderful family holiday and your villa was PERFECT.
We were able to achieve the balance we were looking for - active days mixed with relaxation.
The pool, spa and view were just perfect. We arrived late but the house looked so welcoming - cool, airy, clean and well kept. It was only when we woke early next morning could we appreciate the wonderful view of the lake and birds on the island. We've stared at that view from early morning until late at night - it's mesmerizing & very relaxing.
We were truly very comfortable and our boys enjoyed their space and especially the pool table.
They also really appreciated the selection of DVD's and having the ability to watch them in their respective bedrooms.

"Lost count of the number of visits we have made to ‘Winter Haven’ over the last 7 or so years! It is such a wonderful home on what must be the best kept resort in the area. This house has everything (and more!) that you could possibly need. We see the same names cropping up in the visitors book year after year, which proves the owners care about their guests comfort, otherwise we would all go elsewhere!
This trip, we had our 6 month old son with us, and were blown away by the amount of equipment provided for a baby or young child – there was even a microwave steriliser provided. Needless to say, we are booked in again for 2018!"

"First time booking a rental home on-line. The owners are so easy to deal with. The booking process was very professional - the info pack we received prior to our trip was very comprehensive with details of supermarkets, restaurants and shopping locations and information relating to the villa and surrounding area.
The standard of the villa is superb – it is very obvious this is a very well loved, equipped and cared for home. It was spotless. The local property manager came within an hour when we had a bleeping smoke alarm.
Our kids loved the games room and made good use of their ‘very own’ swimming pool - they even managed a swim before and after days at the parks!
We are a family of animal lovers and the variety of wildlife on our doorstep was incredible. The island is home to Bald Eagles, pink Spoonbills and an Osprey as well as other birds we failed to name! We spotted an otter, a turtle, ducks and an ALLIGATOR!

Lake Berkley resort is a newer gated community, hidden away off highway US192 and built around three lakes in a woodland area. Offering 3 bedroom townhouses through to 7 bedroom villas with private pools, this community offers something for any visitor.
Boasting great community facilities, guests have use of the clubhouse with arcade games room, TV area, Internet room and fitness centre. Outside you will find communal pools, exercise stations, tennis courts, basketball courts and volleyball court, whilst children have their own play areas. If fishing is your sport, the lakes are stocked and can be fished from the pier. Alternatively, take a relaxing walk around the lakes on the designated natural trails.
Located just off highway US192, near to Medieval Times and WalMart, there is the expected array of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and bars all within a 5-10 minute drive. Favourites include Chillis, Longhorn steakhouse, TGI Fridays, Taco Bell, Applebees, Olive Garden, Smokey Bones and even the Medieval Times and Capone dinner shows.
As well as a WalMart, there is a Super Target and Publix supermarket within a few minutes drive. With many smaller retail outlets and themed crazy golf courses scattered between Old Town and Kissimmee, this area offers a great selection for eating out and working it off afterwards. Travel a little further towards Kissimmee and you will find the 'Loop' complex on Osceola Parkway. Here you fill find a further selection of shops, a cinema complex and more restaurants.
