Southern Dunes Villas

Located south of the attractions, villas within the Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club benefit from three key points - they are alongside a PGA-rated championship golf-course (ideal if you are a golfer and do not want to walk far), there is a WalMart within walking distance (ideal if you like to shop) and the peacefulness of the location.

As a gated community, the villas are a mixture of residential and short-term rental homes. The community has tennis courts, a communal pool, a gym, a lake that can be fished and a children's play area. For those on vacation, there is a clubhouse attached to the golf course which is open to the public for drinks and snacks.

With a WalMart within walking distance, everything you should need will be right on your doorstep. If you just want to pop-in to pick something up, well there is also a Winn-Dixie alongside.

Located around Haines City, not only are you near to Manny's Original Chophouse, but there are a number of eateries including , Burger King, Taco Bell, Checkers, Beef O'Bradys, Dominos, Quiznos, MacDonalds and First Wok Chinese restaurant. Head back towards US192 for a plethora of restaurants, bars and crazy golf courses - to work all that food off.

Southern Dunes is located on highway US27, just under 9 miles south of the intersection with Interstate 4; which also offers the most straightforward driving route to Walt Disney World and Kissimmee. For Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the International Drive area, head for Interstate 4 and then north towards Orlando. Orlando International airport is accessible from Interstate 4 and the Beachline Expressway SR528. This is also the route to Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach.

For the Gulf coast and Busch Gardens, head south on Interstate 4 towards Tampa. The new Legoland Florida is further south on US27.
